New Year's Eve Dinner Recipe - Blessings Abound (Braised Beef Brisket with Tomatoes and Potatoes)


Main ingredients:
500g beef brisket, 2 potatoes, 2 tomatoes
Additional ingredients:
Ginger , scallions (appropriate amount), cooking wine , light soy sauce , salt, rock sugar , and pepper (appropriate amount)

Prepare materials:
Prepare all the main and auxiliary ingredients, wash and slice them for later use.
1. Cut the beef brisket into chunks, blanch it to remove blood and impurities, and set aside.
2. Cut potatoes and tomatoes into chunks, slice ginger, and cut scallions into sections.
3. Heat oil in a wok, sauté ginger slices and scallion segments until fragrant, then add beef brisket and stir-fry.
4. Add cooking wine, light soy sauce, salt, rock sugar, and pepper, stir-fry until well combined, then add water to cover the beef brisket and simmer.
5. When the beef brisket is 70% cooked, add potatoes and tomatoes, and continue to simmer until the beef brisket is tender. Then it's ready to serve.
Precautions:
Cook over medium heat, avoiding overcooking. Add potatoes and tomatoes last, otherwise they will become mushy and lose their texture.
